A Peaceful Soul
We are born into this world in a state of perfection. A body, mind and spirit beginning its journey on this earthly plane. We carry within us all possibilities that can occur in order for us to experience the Soul Growth that we have come to learn. As we progress through our lives, often unconsciously, we set into motion a series of events that provide us with the lessons that we have been sent here to learn. Many of the experiences are painful to the human Soul. However, no experience is lost if growth occurs from it. If we do not learn the lesson the first time, the Universe will provide us the opportunity again and again until we finally do. Who among us, upon reflection, has not discovered that the common denominator in a series of unfortunate events, is ourselves? Reaching this realization is the beginning of healing on all levels.
There is often a karmic component to our behaviors. Each time we reincarnate, we carry forward our unresolved issues from prior lives, This is called karma. This manifests itself in our current lives as predispositions in both positive and negative fashions. These predispositions manifest as filters in our lives. We may be born with a predisposition for conflict avoidance. Then every event we experience in our lives is viewed in terms of conflict avoidance being paramount. This shapes how we view events. Often times a group of people will experience the exact same event, yet each will have a completely different view of the experience. This is a result of our own filters. Once we are able to recognize our filters and remove them, we are able to navigate this life based on current events, not the past. We discover that many of our own self defeating or self destructive behaviors are actually karmic in nature and not related to our current reality.
